How it fits into the working day

Australian totals by default When a line uses 10% GST, the entered unit price is treated as GST inclusive. MechAxis calculates the GST component and ex-GST total for the document. Payments that match the counter Record cash, card, EFTPOS, bank transfer, cheque or another method. Paid invoices remain editable by authorised workshop staff. A customer copy that reads properly Workshop details, customer and vehicle information, line descriptions, GST and payment status appear in a clean printable document.

Are prices entered including GST?

Yes. MechAxis follows the common Australian workshop convention: the unit price is GST inclusive and the GST component is calculated from it.

Can we edit an invoice after payment?

Authorised workshop administrators can correct a paid invoice while the payment record and audit history remain visible.

Which payment methods can we report on?

Cash, card, EFTPOS, bank transfer, cheque and other payments can be recorded and compared on the dashboard.
